how to lower?

i am wondering what is a good way to lower my IS. i still would like to keep the smooth ride. will springs work or do i get full teins?

if you want the smoothest ride, i think getting tein springs will be the case, but that might kill the shocks fast

gettnig the tein flex is probably one of the smoothest ride you can get for a coilover of good value. personally i would pick coilover any day :)

the ltuned/eibach springs are good, i have those.

Get the TRD Sportivo Suspension Kit. Mine rides like a charm and it has the proper stance.

I have the tokico shocks and springs.... works good for me but I wish I went with coilovers

any springs/coilovers will change your stock, smooth ride...
you may want to try the l-tuned/eibach springs w/ stock shox
also, the hotchkis are suppose to be really close to stock, too.
most (if not all) setups that lower the car also increase the spring rate, thus the change in ride
some compromise more than others...

personally, if i had to do it over again, i would go coilovers - tein flex or cs

I run the Eibach springs which are supposed to lower by 30MM - now they have bedded in it feels more like 40MM+. I run stock shocks.

Using a spring such as I have, the shock absorber is only working at around 70% efficency. The bump stops are nailed sometimes, this is where the suspension fully compresses and has no-where to go.

I will upgrade to Tein RA for racetrack.

However if I wanted to preserve the ride, I would go with Tein CS - a lot of people recommend them and the stock ride is preserved.
