Hi guys, looking for recommendations on a tried and proven upper ball joint tool to separate the upper control arm from the spindle.

id prefer not to hammer on the spindle and leave dents in it.

anyone have a brand/model P/N tool that they are certain works on the 2GS ?

I've always gotten one of these two tools to work for me in every situation. If memory serves I used the ball joint separator when I did suspension on my GS3. One tip is to tighten those down then hit the spindle where the shaft goes through and it should pop loose without the sketch factor. Also if reusing a ball joint or tie rod, make sure that you always put the nut on before doing this so you don't booger up the threads
