i've been looking for the SAGE 18mm but I can seem to find a place that has them for sale.

please help!
Order one from SAGE directly, I just ordered one from him, easy to deal with and shipped quickly.

Anyone look at using an LS400 or LS430 spindle/knuckle on the GS or IS? Then it would easily and perfectly take the rotor/caliper the LS should have and should fit perfectly on the GS (or IS if you have one)

Default Ls400 upgrade and wheels done

I thought I would share some photos of my ls400 rotors and pads. I went with reman calipers and weaver rotors. I painted the rotors black just for fun. I know a lot of people around here have questions on what wheels to use/ or spacers. I decided a while back to move to 18's because my stock 17 was cracked. I did my research and found that the knock off 18x8 LFA wheels where cheap and would work if I with a LS brake swap. As far as the fitting the calipers I am running 30mm RCA's on the front and rear on stock suspension. I did have to cut the dust shield back to fit the calipers. So here are the pics:

Can you break down what you did to run the homemade rca's?

Does anyone know the torque spec of the 4 bolts on the LS400 caliper when you separate it? It's a 4 star/hex bolts it looks like.

Ok, so I've read through the majority of the info in this thread. I appreciate all of the contributions, they really help a newbie such as myself. Here's my question: What would you all say about remanufactured TT calipers? I found a site that has them for about $100 per side, which seems to be a decent deal. I'll be upgrading to 19's on my GS by the end of Spring.

I have remanufactured TT calipers and they work great. They basically rebuild oem calipers. I say go for it. Good luck

I'm running stock 16's now. Would I be able to keep them, or would I need to wait until I get my new wheel setup due to clearance?

you need at least 17'' with spacer if your using stock wheels... 16'' are to small

Well, after some deliberation I've decided to go w/ LS brakes. My pads are about shot so I figured this is a great time for an upgrade. I'll have to wait until the 15th to get my 18mm RCA's. I'll post some pics as things move along. I'm thinking of getting the calipers painted hyper silver or something along those lines.
