gotta custom make them. I have 18mm RCAs sitting in the garage...but the problem is finding the high grade bolts to match this thickness.

well now that i finally got my ls400 brake kit from redphoenix

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...ew-rotors.html

i have a few questions, i been reading this thread and a few others including these

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...o-rubbing.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...r-upgrade.html

and one of my ?'s got answered as to the bolts but i have another question.

i have rotora slotted rotors i got awhile ago and would like to keep them, can i use them when i mount my ls400 brakes?

i know ls400's are 12.4" rotors from reading his thread (the key info is my rotor size which i will measure tomorrow)

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...y-auction.html

depending on the size of my rotora's, as in if mine wont fit after i measure them, will these work?if so is there a cheaper place to get them, like a vendor on here?

http://www.modacar.com/bolt-on/produ...539-21914.html

also....i been using hawk HP pads, any suggestions or preferences on pad brands for the ls400 rotors?

Subscribed ive been debating in doing this for some time now...I drive my GS430 hard and tired of warping my rotors and changing pads...besides the Lexus silver is peeling of my calipers so it gives me a reason to change them...lol

The following pictures will show what didn't fit.

btw, now they're up for sale. If you're looking for this setup for your SC or IS, PM me. I have the calipers and Rotora slotted & drilled rotors.

After looking at it for about 30 mins or so, I found a way to fit them. Very simply to do, no cutting or grinding required.

They do fit what you need is a SAGE RCA Kit. Contact member PHLM for info

so haven't forgotten bout this just been busy....tried to measure but left my wheel lock and tools at the house so i jacked it up our forklift (on the frame rails supporting the engine) and my heat shields are still on so i couldnt get a accurate measurement ....so eyeballing it, mine appear to be about 11 1/2" but im sure they actually are the 11.65" that the oems are so it appears i will be needing/buying new rotors for the LS.

so now my questions are...does any vendor on here sell Rotora rotors and what pads are you guys recommending for the LS calipers?

thanks.....glad least ONE person who viewed this and has the LS400's answered me.

no squeaking noise overtime, my hawks tend to squeak at 1-5 MPH not when your hard on them and only after a year or so. the EBC hold up well? a lot or a little brake dust?

EDIT: just noticed you said USED as in past tense, do you not have them anymore or did you change pads?

i experienced no squealing at all even when it was a little cold. this is when u properly place break lube. EBC pads held up great and stopped great even in the cold. i would say there was a relatively low amount of brake dust but that all depends on braking habits.

yep i had a 93 LS400 which came with stock 2 pots so i upgraded for the 4 pot system and since i was getting rid of the car i removed them and its been sitting in the garage since, pads STILL looking new after being installed in March and removed in Sept. (Car and brake system for sale btw)

cool, i guess i will look into them the EBC reds and some rotora slotted rotors. guess i will be selling my gs430 calipers, Rotora rotors, and hawk pads shortly

while im looking and since i have never used EBC whats the difference in the EBC Red and green pads, which one is better?

also...cheapest place to find them, i found for both (EBC Reds and Rotora Slotted Pads) or even separate was here

EBC makes a couple of differ color pads, each varying the type of material and abilities. it ranks from green>red>yellow, yellow being probably almost race type.

i bought my red pads from eBay.
