100% no. I have a 2nd gen LS400, and I put the smaller brakes on it so I could run those rims.

they will NOT fit without spacers or something like that

hope that helps.

wild question: are the oem 2GS rear calipers alum also?

it'd be dope to polish the rears to match.

and yes, I read all 21 pages...lol
The rear 2GS calipers are iron. I wouldn't recommend trying to polish them as bare iron rusts very easily.. I remember I ground my rear calipers to clear my wheels and they had surface rust almost instantly.

I believe the IS300 wheels are 17x7 +50 and next to no brake clearance. So I would recommend like 25mm minimum

offset doesnt really have anything to do with brake clearace its mostly spoke design. however on most one piece wheels the lower the offset is usually the more caliper clearance they have. Since the 2GS OEM 17" wheels are 8" wide I personally would not settle for anything skinnier (unless it was for a winter/snow setup). If you want a OEM Lexus 5 spoke style wheel that clears the LS calipers and no spacers I recommend getting the 3GS 18" wheels. You can get a set new (replica) for $500. Or get G35 rims

Thanks for the pointer . I guess I'm going the paint route now.

any mechanic shop should be able to install them without any effort. But make sure you have the RCA's ready for him

What about the Supra Turbo brakes?

SAME THING, or are they many different OEM wheels that will fit on the 2GS w/ Supra calipers?
(with no spacers)

Not that 15mm spacers are a big deal to me, but if the Supra TT brakes on the 2GS can still work with 17"+ wheels, that would be cool.

Quick Reply: LS400 brakes do fit 2nd Gen GS!!
