its time for me to buy new tires. i have 20 x 8.5 rims. i was wondering, eventhough i dont have the staggered setup rims, would it still be possible for me to run a staggered setup for tires? maybe some combo like this, 245-35-20 fronts & 265-30-30 on my current rims??? would there be a noticable difference in the way of looks or even performance? thanks

you can do that. the 265/30/20 would be a bit lower in sidewall in the back but i think it's ok

the look would be a bit different too.

though personally i don't really suggest putting 265 on 8.5

I agree with rominl. 265 may be pushing it on an 8.5 wheel, 255 maybe. I personally don't like the look of the rear wheel being smaller than the fronts and with the 245/265 combo, this is what will happen.

I don't know what offset is on the wheel but have you considered staying 245 all around and getting a nice spacer in the rear to get the wheels more flushed with the fender?
