Question Tein Flex Notice to User

I just installed Tein Flex on my GS300 and found out on the last page of manual this unit is for Off road only and not to use in public road? Is this really the case? Thank you in advance for inputs...

I believe that's Tein's way of not having to be DOT certified.

edit - no that does not mean you can drive on the sidewalk now
