Don't know much about Tein SS but from what Rominl say about the Flex and Cs is that they are close in performance, and that CS's perform near factory, form my experience Cs is what i got,and i love the looks and performance it offers. The one thing about the flex is that it has a lower drop rate.
Hope that helps or you could go to Rominl's review on suspension he's the big reason i got the CS's his review is very helpful so go study up on it.

from the spec on tein.com, the spring rate of the ss is very stiff. even stiffer than the HA, i can only imagine how my butt would suffer. if you are looking for performance i am sure it's a good one to go with, especially if you track your car. but if you want a good daily drive and being soft everywhere as much as you can, i say stay away

oh and thanks for the compliments on my review

From some IS users I have heard that the SS pillowtops make a lot of noise, but have yet to hear any similar complaints with the CS or Flex users...

And yes... the SS are very stiff, some think too stiff ...
