Default sway bars

Just wondering,
I looked and saw a purple rear sway bar with yellow bushings, that look kinda new, also looked up front and front sway had new looking red bushings.
Is this correct for factory?
Thank for any input.
Tim

Hi Thanks for reply,
Rear one is PURPLE and 3/4" thick, high yellow bushing, looks new

Front is 1 and 1/8" thick and bright red bushings, I see a number of places on suspension where there is high yellow bushings.

Any idea of what factory size is?
Thanks,
Tim

The Intrax ones are kind of purplish.

With age is guess the purple could get darker, front not purple though. Took some pictures will post later, rear is connect to arms kinda strangely, but having no experience with these cars it could be set up that way, connects to arm at a odd angle.

Who knows when you buy used, have a Akimoto intake but don't know if ECU has been upgrades.
Thanks,
Later

Default pics rear and front

Let see if I can get these pics in, rear purple and front bushings look new. In rear pic see how the end is oddly bolted at angle to arm, seems it should be bolted flat.

I don't know. The rears could be the Intrax. The fronts might be stock with polyurethane bushings.

Hi, thanks for imput,
Both links are connected the same way and are solid connections, bolt must be made that way, I am only guessing, sure leaves a fella wondering when it is going to fall off.

is this on ur car? how come you dont know whats going on with ur suspension, or did u buy ur car used?

i dont think the rear is Intrax, you provided a pix neo of an Intrax setup look at the rear sway it has another outward "bend" (2 curves on each side), while the one La400's car has only a normal shape one "bend" -- well thats if ur pix provided is the one for a GS. well i dont know Intrax uses yellow bushings too Ah oh well

No,
purchased used 4 months ago, 95,000 miles, slowly going through it. Did all the items required at this milage plus some additional clean us and going over mechly. Everything sound and working correctly, just started looking at upgrades, without going full blown set ups.

Just in the discovery stages as to what is what, handles well, had a good run through some real curves with a newer corvette and he wasn't a happy camper that I gave him such a hard time.

Front bushing shot, actually does show well but is a copper outer core around the red bushing and it looks new.

Think it would do any good to redue everything, plus I am going to change the steering ECU, unless it has already been done, who knows.
Thanks,
Tim

Good call. I was just going by colors. As for the pic, it is the one on RMM's site. I don't know if the pic is specific to the GS but they did sell a set for the GS.

Unless the previous owner marked it, there would be no way to tell since the outer housing of the OEM and recalibrated ECU looks the same. Even the same part number.
