Front Strut Nut Size?

Hello:
I am in the process of installing my TRD strut tower bar. Does anybody know the size of the nuts? Looks like 16mm, but I can't be sure. Also, anybody have any helpful installation tips?
Thanks!

I totally agree with that statement. I could not find my Metric parts so I used the SAE closest. The nut was on tight and I ended up stripping the bolt. A new Bolt-Out kit and nut from the dealer later and I got my STB on.

Thanks for the tip!
Just got my 6pt 14mm deep well socket and it seems to fit like a glove. Haven't done the swap yet. The holes of the bar don't seem to line up with the strut studs (haven't taken the nuts off yet). The TRD installation instructions (in Japanese) said that in this event, to remove the nuts, jack the car up and lower it, and then try again. Since I don't have a floor jack at my disposal, does anybody know an alternative?
Thanks

Just took of the nuts without any problem, and of course the STB holes do not line up with the studs. Figures. . . nothing is as easy as it seems.

Success!
I jacked up the right side, and with one side of the STB on the left studs, gently shoved the STB on the right side studs. Worked like a charm! Can't wait to give it a road test tomorrow.
Thanks!
