Default Emergency Brake Stuck ... HELP!

I always engage my emergency brake when parked. I was getting ready to go out and pulled the emergency brake lever to disengage it, but the brake stayed all the way down by the left foot rest! I can't disengage the brake now... it will not spring back! Anything I can do besides having it towed to the dealership?

It doesn't do anything. It pulls back, but does nothing.

I put the car in reverse and it rolled an inch or two before the emergecy brakes stoped it. I put the car in N, and the emergency brake disengaged. Can't duplicate the problem now.

At least I can drive it now.

You may still want to have it looked at because it may not be such a simple fix next time.....

Unless you are parked on a steep incline/decline....you need NOT step on the parking brakes to its fullest extent.

I personally always use it ....but on level surfaces....I press it 1/4 to 1/2 down.
