Default Daizen Sways - Review

One Word......NICE!!!!!!!

Car is more flat around corners, more stable, and the overall feeling is a much tighter and responsive suspension system. Just had them installed by Todd today.

Congrats on your Daizen sways! I have been contemplating picking em up for my GS 430 as well.
Can you tell me if the ride quality and comfort decreased by much in your opinion or is it fairly minimal? And can you tell me if the price I was quoted $500 is too high? Thanks!

Jeff

mcgong will geive you his opinions but I'll give you my 2 cents too.

Minimal ride quality decrease, greatly enhanced body roll control. As far as I know, $500 is the going price for these right now.

Where in the Bay Area are you? Some of us get together about once a month for various things. Both rominl and I have the Daizens (and both started with the TRD race) and a few other guys have the TRD race. These meets are never planned ahead in advance but if it becomes convenient for everyone, it would probably help for you to get a ride in one of our cars to help you make your decision. It has actually been more than a couple of years since I had a stock suspension ride. I don't even know what that feels like anymore.

Neo: I am in SF but I am frequently in the SJ area as well. I thought about getting the TRD blues but I have read that they are a bit harsh and since I just bought some 19's (also have L-Tuned suspension) I didn't want my ride to be too rough. From everything I have read, Daizen's seems to be a great compromise.
I would definitely be interested in meeting at any events in the future. Anyways its always great to meet other Lexus enthusiasts! Thanks!

Congrats on the new sways Mcgong. They are definitely on my ever-growing mod list. I'm in on GB if one develops.

if it helps, i just picked up a set from Sewell Lexus a couple of weeks ago for my GS.

about the Daizen v. TRD; yeah, the TRD's may be a bit less expensive but be sure they're
what you want. i don't want to start another war, but they are different - for better or for worse
depending on how you want your car set up.

PEACE.
