Question SS Brake Line Installation

This weekend I took off my front rims to paint the ugly rusted center part of the rotor. I notice how the Lexus technician had install the Goodridge SS Brake lines and it seems kind of strange way to install it. I would appreciate if those with OEM caliper with SS brake lines look at their installation when they get the chance. I didn't have a digital camera when I took the rims off therefore I hope I can explain it clearly.

With my installation the SS brakeline form a "S" and not a "U". One end of the SS brake line points up toward the brake line from the master cylinder. The other end connected to the caliper points downward. This method of connection form a "S" between the two connection. Is this the right way? To me this seem to put some unnecessary stress to the SS brake line especially when turning and the up/down movement of the suspension. I would assume a simple "U" would be better.
