Default Tanabe coilovers

I think these are fairly new so probably no one has it installed yet, I'm thinking about swapping out my L-tuned suspension for these, might get a good deal on a set.

I think tanabe has a good rep...correct?

I dont know about the coilovers, but I know someone that has the springs on a 98 GS3 with 20s, and that thing sits NICE, not too smushed, yet no gaps front or rear. He said the ride only gets harsh on the really rough stuff!

Price seems to be nice!

I had a dealer friend who wanted to hook me up on a set of those....I was going to get them, but found out that the spring rates were pretty stiff. I think stiffer than the FLEX's, but I don't remember off hand now.

These are VERY Stiff as Tran has mentioned. They are on the same level as the Tein HA, and possibly a bit stiffer. The coilover thread that Manaray started and has going has all the information with every single coilover out for the GS and it's spring rate.

I would link you, but I don't have the time right now. Sorry.. just try searching under Coilover or spring rates... it's a looooong thread.

Tein HA : 14/10
Tanabe: 14/12

They're on the stiff side.
