Default 10 mm spacers: where to buy

I need 10mm spacers. Is there anywhere i can buy them for my 98 GS3, i have 20x8.5 inch wheels all the way around with 245/35/20 tires. Will this do anything bad to them? screw up tread? make the tires hit the fender and slice the tires?

I know H&R makes 15mm, but all i really need is 7.5 mm to clear the Supra TT brakes, so i thought 10mm would do.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

putting 10mm in the front is pretty bad. if you really do it, i would suggest getting new studs for safety. but i have no idea where to get them though...

and btw, what's the offset of your wheels now?! with 10mm you are not going to rub?

Like Rominl said, what type of wheels are you using. That big of a spacer is going to screw up the front end geometry.....

What's the offset of your wheels? I assume the wheels are normal or low disk....not made to clear your Supra TT brakes. If you can find 10mm spacers for your car ....you will definitely need to replace the studs. I got 5mm for the rear....and my lugs stick out a bit now.

How about welding two 5mm together? Ummm...just a thought.

not a good idea, it's very hard to weld and make sure they are still flat surface.

and yes, if you need spacer coz' your wheel is low disk, unless that original offset is way too high to begin with, otherwise adding the 10mm you might rub the fender bad

Any one know where to get wheel studs that are longer. I had to put a 5/16 (8mm) spacer on my front to clear my tt brakes. I went to Napa and all they had were studs that were 4 mm longer than stock with the same thread pitch. I used them ... but I only get like 4 or 5 turns on them. I'd feel safer to get ones that are 8 mm longer than stock to compensate for the spacer.

I never used the longer stud bolts provided to me with my H&R 5mm spacers. In fact...another CL member is interested in them right now. I'll let you know if he passes on them.

I ran 10mm spacers on my rear for about 6 months with no issues. They were H&R spacers. I bought from a place where I live for a 120 dollars. They come with the spacer and the longer studs. I had the studs change out for about 30 dollars a side.

Default longer studs

for everyone interestyed in longer wheel studs. I had recently put on a universal 8mm spacer in rear of GS400 to clear caliper for new wheels. due to safety reasons and peace of mind I needed longer studs. I tried to get HR spacer kit but they only make 5 or 15 mm, anything over 10mm will not work on my setup. Our GS400 wheels stud is the exact part on a Toyota Rav4 and according to the parts dept at a dealership all Toyota wheels stud are same specs except the length. Upon further research the Landcruiser stud is about 5-6mm longer in lenght. Tommorrow I am having my rear studs replaced at this shop. The nice thing is these are OEM parts the part # is 90942-02052 and cost me $5.50 per stud. Hope this helps anyone out there.
