New Rotora Brake setup
Just got my new rotora brake setup done with Axiss pads. Swapped out my TRD rotors and EBC pads. That setup worked great, but the Rotora/Axiss combination is working out even better. For those of you unsure about Rotora....don't be. The quality of there rotors are top notch. The hubs and top part of rotors come e-coated in black to prevent rust. Still breaking in the rotors but so far this setup has exceeded my expectations in every way.
A cheaper alternative to dropping $1500 on a big brake upgrade.
Oh, for those of you wondering how the 25mm spacers look, check out the second rear shot of the brakes.

I agree...good quality for the money. I have 6,000 miles on mine now and no problems. Prior, I had the EBC pads, and the X-drilled/slotted RT rotor setup which wore way fast and kept warping.

QWK,
As you can see in the pictures, the dust shield is still there. From that point all I did was to put back my stock 17's.
Remember that I do not have the BIG brake kit from Rotara which includes calibers, cross drilled rotors and a 4 piston setup. Those run about $1600. For this setup you will need a 5mm spacer to fit on stock 17inch wheels.
However, my setup is just the rotors with axiss brake pads on stock calibers. Everything is plug and play and no spacers required. The rear picture includes a 25mm spacers because I like how the rear wheels are now flushed with the fender.
here is a shot of the rear with the 25 mm spacers

Hey Drew,
Thanks for the answer.. I thought yours was the 4-piston Rotora kit..
Some one told me with any big brake upgrade you will need to take the dust shields off even Supra/TRD brakes, and cannot use stock 17's.. Is this True..?
Anyways your Rotor Upgrade looks good - how much did it cost?

I would check with our man Steve Gantz as the prices flucuate. I think I paid 400 or something like that from him. I ordered them like 4 months ago and only got around to putting them on last week.
Very impressed with them so far. Stops on a dime and a little less whooshing sound when comparing it to the TRD. The TRD rotors have deeper grooves than the Rotora and is probably why. So far so nice.
