Default Anybody here with LS 430 brakes?

After seeing the post with DSR brake kit, has anybody just bolted on LS430 calipers and rotors? There supposed to be like the TT but lighter, one piece, and you dont need as much clearance for them. Will they go on the front with just removeing the dust shield? Im in need for some new brakes but i rather spend the extra 1500.00 on other mods.

Try a search and you'll find a few threads... just look for LS430 in this subforum.

For example, here's one where members who were looking at this decided not use them because they required a different bracket (not direct bolt on).

The LS430 calipers WILL NOT directly bolt onto your existing GS setup without the proper brackets. I only know 3 companies currently using the LS430 calipers as their base kit but each of them develop their own brackets: TRD ($2500), Netz Sport (not sure on price, no one has it on their car on CL I think), and DSR (Not sure on price yet, Alex has it on his car, you should pm him HKGS300).

From what I heard the DSR kit is quite a bit cheaper than the forementioned kits and definitely QUITE a bit cheaper than the popular brembo, stoptech packages. PM HKGS300 and he will give you a better answer than me.

Patience, my friend, patience. The set I ordered through my friend Alex should be in my hands in a couple of weeks and I should be able to test it out for you guys. A full review ahead!
