Any day is fine with me. Well, at least all the ones you have to vote on. The only weekend I can see is unavailable is the 4th weekend in Oct. However, I don't think we want to do it that late, and BAZ may have to send his car back by then. My favorite is the last weekend in Sept. Worst case scenario Baz will have to send the Soarer back sometime in Oct, so we definitely want to meet before then.

 

I gotta check with my schedule, because I have to do interviews at colleges and I have swim meets on weekends sometimes, but I'll try to find out those dates in advance, or soon.

We have a location! After talking to Camshaft yesterday, he talked to his boss about hosting out meet. He said his boss was willing to host it at the bar where Camshaft works. Here's the pm I received from Camshaft:

Ok, the parking lot is going to be poured with concrete for expansion for Bikes Blues Bar B Q today. However, there are hundreds of other parking lots all over the place near by Dixon Street. There are two roads I want to take you all on. Maybe one in the morning take a trip down the Pig Trail and back, lunch on ****son say Jose's or Powerhouse, then after that I have a little suprise. Turns out a road just 10 minutes out of town is a rated road in Road and Track magazine with graded and banked curves. One of my bosses was a huge corvette fan and had several. That is on the West side of Fayetteville and the Pig Trail is on the East. Thats why I propose eating in town. Both are through pretty nice territory, and the Lake Weddington road is quiet, very few police, and best of all, few other cars. Maybe an occasional farmer John, but is easily passed. A really ****ing hot friend of mine will come with us with a bikini to take pictures on cars.

Okay, Heres the latest pm from Camshaft.

ouch, that sucks. That weekend is the best because the town shuts down for football games. The Tulsa game is in Fayetteville, and the streets get blocked off, police patrols double, and the traffic increases 10 fold. Thats what happens when you sell out a 72k football stadium and not have enough parking. The North Texas game is in little rock. Everyone leaves the town and drives down. However, Texas is in Austin. Everyone will be watching in bars or at home. If its slow, cops are bored and look for tickets. If its crowded, well, its just general hell finding parking or getting around. However, I do have to at least listen to the game. SCs have good radios. As for the girlfriend thing, its really hard getting a girlfriend much less keeping one in the bar business.

He said it would be good to schedule this around the football games. September the 13th when AR plays TX in texas. Sounds like everybody leaves the townto go down there. That would open up the roads for us, cause less cops to be out, and just be better overall.

Tell me what you think about this date.

Honestly, that wouldn't be my favorite date. But, if thats when traffic is best, then Cam ought to know. I've been there for a football game before. The population of the town triples or more. Anyway, I'll follow up with what I said and be there regardless of the date.

 

Come on people, I need some feedback on this here!!!!!!

I have a friend with a honda civic with an ecu and tiens and wheels and he can make it for this date too. That is if you guys don't mind the company of a honda.
