Default Need input from North Carolinians..

Wasup ppl,

I was offered a position in Charlotte, NC and was hoping to get some feedback from fellow NC'ers or nearby residents on what to expect in NC, should I accept the position. Any information will be helpful, like which part of town to stay away from, where is a good place to rent etc.

Thanks!

Lots of nice places to live. Lots to stay away from.

Let's start with where your job will be, if it's in one office, and go from there.

I work in Cary,NC but commute to Charlotte often for meetings.

If your young (20-35), i'm 25, it's a blast. Great downtown life. City is geared toward young professionals I feel.

You're also not too far from the beach, and too far from the Mountains.

Good luck!

I realized that, once I visited to train a few team members but I actually enjoyed it.

Visit your team members and ride to work with them in the morning from Huntersville. You won't move there after that. (traffic)

Hard to say. I've lived here 28 years, so I haven't had to drive in NYC rush hour in almost that long. Also, I do NOT live in Huntersville.

Ask the folks you work with here and compare notes.
