About a year ago this month, Dex and I got together for the first ever Charlotte ClubLexus meet. It was just the two of us parked in back of a closed dentist office checking out each other's rides. He'd recently bought his car and had NO plans to modify it... that lasted for about 10 minutes . (see historic picture below)

In honor of this great event, I'm inviting others to join us on July 4 for the second annual Charlotte ClubLexus Micro-Meet. An important out-of-town visitor (Dr Rick) has tentative plans to join us, increasing the size of our group by a massive 150%!

Nothing formal here and expect NO detailed planning... Both Dex and I have some minor DIY mods planned for the long holiday weekend and will probably take on some that day. Probably just hang out during the day on July 4, possibly do some drives/pictures/videos around Charlotte. During the early evening, we're planning on taking my boat out for a little night-time cruise on Lake Norman to watch the fireworks over the nuclear plant. No, my boat does not have 6000K HID self-leveling lights (yet..... do they make them for boats? ).

With just the three of us, it doesn't even count as a mini-meet, so I'm calling this a Micro-Meet. If some of you Charlotte-areas lurkers (you know who you are) want to show up, please PM me or respond here! Hope to see you.

not so fast, there dave. ill be there. however, i am taken aback by you saying that i am an important visitor. thanx... im in for most of the events on thurs. i have my own little "micro-meet" set up. but knowing my luck, itll end just like the last one ill call you guys when i get in on wed night. oh and ethan thanx. just make sure that i win the prize........i know you dont want me to get jesse or my frat brother, JC Jr to bring some media attention to this. affirmative action, anyone? holla.......

Also, a hint for you... If you start calling your potential hookups "micro-meets" they probably aren't as likely to happen, just as you say .
