Fridays will be a no go for me. I work until 5:30 M-F and have Dad duties until 7pm M-F. Mom only lets me come out to play on the weekends. If we do Charlotte make it N.Charlotte please it's an extra 1/2 hours drive to the South side.

December 5th wont work for me, I will be in Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game! :) Go Gators!!!

I can do the 12th though @ Brier Creek. Meet up there @ 7:00pm?

From the looks of it, I think that raleigh would be the ideal meeting spot since most of the member live closer to raleigh. As for the meeting date, it's looking more like December 12th or 13th. But to think of it now, if we were to meet up at night, it's gonna be pretty difficult to look at each others cars at night time so hows Saturday December 13th at noon sound?

Meh...if you do it in Raleigh have fun...that's just too much of a trip for a small car meet. Really, if you guys find a mid way point I'd be down...

Heck, if gas prices stay low, I might drive down from VA to go (if it's in the Raliegh area). Saturday the 13th even looks like a good date, too.

400 mile round trip / ~25-30 mpg x $2/gal = about $30

Not too bad to meet up with some past buddies and to meet some new ones. Plus, my car could a good hwy cruise.

BTW, Jeremy, isn't Brier Creek where we all met up last year (at Frankie's).

If so, I feel a re-match at the drift track coming up.:driving:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

This is not real drifting with our cars. There an amusement park with a go kart track that's literally greased down (or, at least, hosed down with soapy water), that requires you to drift to race.

Yah, I know its not a real drifting event. Besides, jeremy would never put his beautiful baby up to the challenge anyways....:D:p The track that you're thinking of is the go kart track up near garner if I remember correctly. So let's plan on having a get together for Saturday December 13th at noon. I'll start another thread to get a official head count if you guys are up to it.

matrixgts 11-21-08 03:50 PM

Alexus_300 11-21-08 09:30 PM

Guys, could you pick out a place to have lunch possibly.. I'm thinking either The Ale House or Johny Carino's should be a good place to eat.

mteele 11-24-08 05:31 AM

Pencil me in, I'll be there for sure! I'm open on where to eat lunch, Ale house or Red Robin or somewhere like that.
