Why there is so much difference between owners count for GS II & IV gen than III gen?
 

Sorry if I put thread in wrong place, but i didn't notice any general place for GS's.

So I am looking for GS 3rd gen for myself, checking thought specific forum and then noticed that, 4th gen and even 2nd gen forums have a much more threads and informations. I was suprised becouse in europe lexus gs 2nd were so hard to find but 3rd gen is pretty generic vehicle. So i want to know your point of view, or there is any 'hate' for 3rd generation of GS?

2nd gen GS forums are what really started Club Lexus back in the late 90s, so there is a massive volume of past content

4th gen GS are a current model so that forum gets more ongoing interest from new buyers, new modifications coming out, etc.

There actually are nearly 2X the number of threads in the 3GS forum (21,766 threads and 291,280 posts) vs 4GS (11,138 threads and 186,732 posts), it's just less active.
