Default Issue with new updates

they make reading the forums horrible,

for the past 3 days the text ahs been blurry and have this big black box on the top of my browser. and it is not my PC, I have it occurring on 3 different laptops, both Mac and PC as well as my ipad, from multiple ISP connections.. Verizon Hot Spot, Spectrum Broadband, and my Office DS3 connection. using IE, Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Safari, makes no difference.

I can't replicate, but I also run an ad blocker and I suspect that big black box is either a problem with an ad creative, or something gone wrong with your cache - which I think is probably device specific so shouldn't occur across multiple devices.

Can you try adding an ad blocker to one of your browsers / devices? I'd also recommend removing your browser cache files just in case.

I run ad blockers as well and have the issue with them enabled or disabled. FWIW it is not the ads, it is the menu across the top (user CP, FAQ, Community, Calendar, etc. )

I've cleared my caches, when I scroll using the mouse wheel it creates the black box and it follows down the screen, it also appears if I hover my mouse over it as if to chose one of the items, most specifically "quick links" as that is what I use most often.. it appears to be a graphic glitch, if I hoover my mouse or finger over the menu the black box appears.

What specific OS, browser and device?

i don’t see this issue on win10 chrome pc or iPad safari.

Can you try to disable infinite scroll in the user cL options to see if it changes anything please?

I'm not seeing that option in my settings.

disregard, I found it.. The infinite scroll setting did not change the issue.

----

the issue appears to be this menu/drop down: if I hover over the items in the menu, I get the drop down no issue, as soon as I click any of the items the black box appears and the text goes away, it appears however I can still click an item even though I can't actually see it.

when I do click something my debugger indicates access denied and code errors, it appears I am being denied access to something resulting in the page being unable to decode the images from "HTTPS://rtb.gumgum.com whatever the hell that is.

again this happening on all my devices, and since there appears to be an access denied error, it seems to be something specific with my account on CL.
