Default What's up with the Website Time?

The time on the website has been bothering me for months. What is the deal?? I am posting this message at 10:05 AM Central Standard Time...look at what time it shows this post come up.

Would it be possible to set the time for some US time zone and have it say what time zone the time is in?? Maybe this is nit picky, but like I said, this has been bothering me for months.

Thanks,
Chad

It says I posted at 12-05-02 16:10. This is 5 hours ahead of any city in the US and 8 hours ahead of any of you Californians.

Chad,

I think it's probably your personal settings causing the issue.

Go to User CP, Edit Options (or try this
link , it may work for you).

Look for the 'Time Offset' setting at the bottom of the page. Mine is set GMT - 5:00 hours (eastern), suspect yours may be set to something screwy... sounds like GMT proper.

For me, your post above shows you posted at 11:10 am, which is the correct time, correcting your native CST to my EST.
