Default Interesting IB Marketing?

Noticed this while clicking this post by 1SickLex

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...for-china.html
and:

http://auto.qq.com/a/20091015/000027.htm

http://jbrlsr.com/?aid=5336118848&bi...509&cid=0&url=

That post, that link to auto.qq.com

Just noticed this while browsing CL, happened twice. But then popped up at another site I go on(the jbrlsr info collecting)

Click it, watch your browser bar (tested in Firefox 3.5)

You get redirected through jbrlsr.com to go to it. It would appear IB is trying to find out my browsing habits.........

Whois on the website jbrlsr is blank, they went through "domainsbyproxy" for registration which anonymizes the info.

Not sure I can offer any response - didn't see what you're talking about when I clicked on the thread.

I tried clicking it seems as if the intermediate CL redirect is gone, just came when I clicked the link via here
When it was copied and pasted it wasn't there.

I have noticed that CL adds redirect wrapper text on some URLs when it forwards them but never has caused any concern for me

Unfortunately I moderated that thread before I saw your post, but I'm pretty sure you're just seeing the redirect wrapper.

I'm personally not concerned but if you are you can copy / paste the links or don't click on 'em

Some members about a month ago complained of internet stalking by the parent company of ClubLexus, Internet Brands, here is the info for you guys!

It is a plugin for our forum software.
http://www.drivingrevenue.com/
The intent of the program is to allow Club Lexus to gain a small referral fee for anyone that elects to purchase items from Club Lexus (typically on ebay, but also with amazon.com and a couple of online retailers).
I hope that answers your question!
