If you take it to a shop who has not installed this kit before, they will come out with the same results as Exact.
That's why i need other 2IS to chime in and find me a body shop in the Norcal area.

Wow, that sucks man. It should be Exact's fault. I don't know why some people are defending them. They forced it knowing that it doesn't fit. They should replace it or at least refund the paint. Not much people have the Seibon kit here in the Bay Area. So I doubt anyone has experience with installation with that kit. How much did you pay for installation anyways?

I took my replica kit to EMC collision. They also cracked my rear lip while they were testing it for fitment before painting. They called me up, showed me what had happened and then fixed it for me. Give them a try, they are located in fremont CA. They did an excellent job.

I was going to say that but that should be your last option. You don't even need to hire a lawyer and you should win. Just call Exact and tell them to replace the lip or pay you back for the damage. Its not too late. If they won't do any of those threaten them that you will bring to small claims court.

No lawyers allowed in small claims court (you can get some advice from one before appearing in court). If you're going to go this route (filing papers in small claims court), make sure you document every attempt you made to try to fix the problem between you and EXACT (phone calls, visits, letters, paper work, ect).

I personally do not believe M1 will test fix EVERY kit before painting. It's just too time consuming.

Hate to say it but it's not the installer's fault that the kit fitment is bad and the materials are cracking. You get what you pay for. It's a replica lip. Doesn't matter what shop installs it or how they did it. It's as simple as that.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if they had to modify or add material to the kit to make it fit. Many replica kits out there are mass produced and usually made overseas in China. Fitment will always be an issue if the work is outsourced and sold cheaply.
