If ClubLexus Is Slow For You
 

If you are having trouble with slowness on ClubLexus, please post the following information in this thread:

The time you had the problem (including timezone.)
A traceroute.

If you don't know how to do a traceroute:
Start -> Run -> cmd
tracert clublexus.com

This will result in a bunch of text. Right click the window, select Mark. Drag a box around the output, and press Enter to copy it to the clipboard. Paste it into this thread along with the time you experienced the problem.

We do not need traceroutes from people who aren't having problems.

I've been having this problem for a few weeks.

But I'm on a mac and don't have an option to do Start -> Run -> cmd to run the traceroute. The time is 1:12 Eastern Standard time.

Leroy, we just did a server upgrade yesterday so performance should have significantly improved. Give it another week to watch how fast things run and check back in.

You can run a traceroute on Mac as follows:

1) Open Applications > Utilities > Terminal to bring up a window like this:

2) Type in "traceroute clublexus.com" without the quotes.

Copy and paste the results back here.

Ad Banner Server is significantly slowing the CL site down
 

The whole CL forum is being slowed down significantly because your "ads-server" is taking way too long to connect and load the ads. This is really frustrating as a community member because the page doesn't load until the ad server connects. I have found great value participating but I am just about to stop coming because this site has become way too slow with all of the ad-server connection delays
