Did suspension updates, and this came on-20190629_172054.jpg New struts, strut mounts, lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and stabilizer bar bushings. No wires disconnected. Cranked for test drive, and this came on. APS Off was flashing. Thoughts?

Better picture. No codes came up on OBDII reader.

Could be a combination of faults that triggered CEL.

Try disconnecting the battery for 5-10 min., then reconnecting...

Also consider tightening the gas cap...

Will do.

Just in case this is relevant info. Hood was up for 10 hours, key in On position for a while, maybe a few hours.

The car needs front alignment, reset traction memory, and new zero calibration.

Thank you! Planned to get alignment done this week after the replacements.

You are welcome. The dealer has the tool (either denso tester or techstream) to do the electric setup after the alignment is done. Other mechanics may help as well by plugging in, for example, Solus Ultra scanner to reset Steering angle sensor, Zero points, Yaw sensor etc.

Please be aware that some mechanics are not able to do the procedures on our cars due to Denso equipment which is not always cooperative with regular scanners and/or limits their functionality.

Is the car OK to drive until this is done?

Alignment "feels" fine. The feel on the road is back to what I remember 100k miles ago.

I'll use this thread for results in repairs.

Drive is much better overall. All squeaks, creaks and rattles have disappeared. Bumps I normally get jolted by are now minimized to the sound of the tires hitting them and a very small feel in the cabin. Steering feels much tighter and more responsive, with less of a thunk over the small bumps at driveway speed.

LCA bushing I ordered (IS version) did not fit. Holes would not line up. I put old driver side LCA bushing back on, tightened it down, and the main creaking noise when braking at full stop is gone.

You get the right ones from the right vendor? Many of us, myself included, have used them without issue.

I ordered from the EBay link provided in other threads.

You might need a pry bar to tweak things a bit in order for everything to line up. You had both front wheels off the ground during (attempted) install, right? Stupid question, but you had them oriented the proper way, right? How far off were they?

I actually had just the driver side up on a jack stand. They were off by a few mms, and was unable to adjust them enough by myself to get the bolts aligned correctly. And yes, I did have them oriented correctly.

Could this have been the reason why?

Take all of the load off the front suspension and try again. With a pry bar and a dead blow hammer, you should be able to get it, though with the front wheels in the air, they should just slip on and off without any effort.
Let us know if that does the trick for you.

I got them on. Pry bar along with entire front end off the ground was the trick.

I'm amazed at the overall improvement of the ride. Everything feels tighter, smoother, and quieter.

I have an appointment at 8am tomorrow for alignment as it is off just a bit right. I may have miscounted the outer tie rod spin when replacing. Regardless, it needs to be done.
