Default Need help finding Canadian vendor that sell Project mu brake pads

Hi all,

Been trying to find a local (Canadian) vendor that sells Project mu brake pads (Ideally HC series) but with no luck.
I am looking to buy these pads based on the recommendation from people on this forum. But for some reason, these pads are so rare in Canada.

I have not contact any of the US vendor as I believe there will be custom fee added if I buy from US.

Please help

Car parts are typically duty free.

You'd only be paying PST/GST...and if mailed by USPS, there's no brokerage fee. $25 brokerage fee with UPS and sometimes Fedex.

Is that true!?
If that is the case, that will be great news.
Can someone else also confirm this is the case specifically for brake pads?

I can confirm. Last time i brought in some suspension parts, it's just written on the customs receipt as "auto parts" and was only charged PST and GST

Yup, just have the vendor ship it USPS, it may take a few days extra but you avoid any extra brokerage fees. UPS & Fedex charge brokerage fees if it's shipped Ground, don't ever use Ground unless you're having it shipped to some place close to the border in the US that you plan on driving over and picking up.

Shoot him a PM. He's very responsive and will get the discount codes and links you need.

If the item is made in the USA, you will not be charged for any duties because of NAFTA. Use this link as it will estimate your duties, GST, and PST for any upcoming purchases.

I just realized that maybe other product would fall under NAFTA; however, Project mu I believe is Made in Japan which it will have duties attached...

ModinJapan is a vendor on here, and not a coupon code.
