Is this 2016 RX 350 F Sport A Good Deal?
Hi!
I’ve been eyeing a 2016 F Sport with 35k miles and fully loaded and got quoted 41k OTD. I’m not in close vicinity so it’s hard for me to check in person but wanted to see if the price makes sense.
VIN is: 2T2BZMCA4GC051118
Thanks

Sorry to clarify this is used (not L certified). The Lexus dealership is selling it regular used. I have the original build sheet and it totals out to 60,499.

Just for grins, does the build sheet show: Lexus Safety System, Triple beam headlights, HUD, Luxury Pkg, Pano Moonroof, heated seats, Blind spot monitor-pano view monitor, Mark Levinson sound. that's pretty much what I got with mine. If you have that stuff, I would t think the deal would not be too bad. I am an L-Certified fan, and paid a couple thousand extra for that package.

On the 2016, the Lexus safety system was an option. It was very important to me (YMMV), and something I required. Also make sure and read the Excessive Noise thread. Make sure the vehicle does not have the drone noise at 1500 RPM. The F-Sport has a noise generator so you really will have to check it for the steady state drone.

One data point to consider. Just purchased a 2017 Ultra white on black, 23k miles, same options sans pano roof and 360 camera for 41k OTD (6.25% tax). Non Lexus dealer.

I just picked up a fully loaded luxury package 2017 ($61,318) original sticker. I think the only options missing are the rear entertainment and the wireless phone charger (has the heated power reclining rear seats, touch-less rear door, cold package, towing package, triple beam, pano roof, 360 camera, ML sound, etc.) . With 25k miles, it was a lease with all the service records in mint shape for $38,900

Lead Lap
1) Find the original build sheet if possible, even a decoder with build option codes
2) Find service records from Lexus
3) PPI the vehicle on lift
4) Pricing info is variable by location. Fully loaded vs non fully loaded in the used marketplace isnt as big as a factor as say condition. 1st owner might have paid a 10k premium for those extra features, but the 2nd owner wont be paying that much over a bog standard RX.
4B) Pricing is finding comparable units in the market with the same MY, condition and mileage. Hard to come by, so your next bet is running the car through online websites. For those who have dealer connects, the ultimate price guide will be you Manheim auction values. Thats what the dealer is paying for these units, so expect pricing to be that+dealer cost to refurb them. Always try and use multiple sources to figure out pricing.
