F-Sport Accessories Void CPO Warranty?
My significant other has a new daily driver and I'm in charge of maintenance/mods/etc. I'm not very familiar with CPO conditions so here it goes.
She has a 2016 IS300 AWD F-Sporty with a CPO warranty till 2023. I know any aftermarket mods will void the warranty (rr racing tune will need to wait...) but I believe the F-Sport accessories are made by Lexus themselves. We are interested in the F-Sport performance intake, exhaust, and lowering springs. So the question is 2-fold:
1. Will installing these (by ourselves or by the dealer) impact the warranty? Will it only impact the warranty for those parts? Will the parts be covered under warranty? Any first hand experience would be great.
2. Can we buy used parts and still be covered under warranty (dependent on the answer to #1).
Hopefully we can get some real world experience and not just speculation or hearsay. Thanks in advance!

^^ This is an odd question but I understand that some accessories would void the warranty but I assume its not a blanket void....For example, if a person installs lowering springs but my power window motor dies, surely they wouldn't deny a warranty claim?!? I could see not doing any warranty work for premature wear of the shocks, the steering rack etc but things related to the suspension. I only used this as an example...The same think of an after market exhaust, they wouldn't, "oh Mr. XX, you put a new exhaust so the blown speaker will not be repaired...."
Thoughts?

I believe they would have to prove that your aftermarket or F-Sport accessory was somehow responsible for a related component failure in order to deny warranty claim.
I installed an F-Sport air filter on my IS200T. If they have to service something related to the induction system, I doubt they're gonna deny me a claim because I installed a superior, Lexus OEM air filter because the stock car came with the cheapo paper air filter.

^^ Exactly! I think they would have the responsibility to demonstrate the part caused the failure or premature wear of the other components...

Lots of speculation going on.
Thanks TonyN for the input. Do you have any of the F-Sport accessories installed?
Anybody else have first hand experience?

F Sport accessories are 100% not going to void your warranty. Lexus wouldn’t make them and sell them if they did void warranty because no one would buy them. That’s nonsensical. 3rd party accessories and parts also can’t void you warranty unless Lexus proves that part is the reason your issue is occurring and it would only void that specific part/area. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act covers all that.
