Default What are those blue lights in the dash??!! 😡😡

I test drive a 2014 LS400 today just to get a feel for the general vibe of the model. I noticed two blue lights in the dash that really started to annoy me. In fact it annoyed me to the point I started to get a migraine from it. Had to cut the test drive short. What are those blue lights and can they be turned off?

Those indicate you're in comfort or eco mode. Trying to remember; I think mine's also blue in normal mode. Sport or Sport+ and it turns red. I hardly notice them; it's difficult to imaging them causing a headache.

I can see it in my peripheral vision as I was driving. I didn't know what it was or how to turn it off. The hue of the color bothered my eyes to the point I had to place my hand over the dash on the way back to the car lot. Can this feature be turned off?

Yes, this can be turned off. It is called the ECCO LAMP and can be disabled in the Customizable Features by the owner.

I can't imagine these lights annoying anybody to that extent, but yes they can be turned off (mine are off).

Maybe it was the angle of the sun or something. I don't know. All I know is it was definitely bothering me. But as long as it can be turned off I'm good with it.
