Red face muffler??

Hi, I just bought my Lexus RC F I would like it to sound a little louder without having to spend thousands of dollars. Could I put like a Borla muffler on it?? I have no idea about exaust systems. (girl here) Can I get something for around 300 dollars?? I need help ASAP.. Thanks

Axle backs still cost around $600 - $800. If you just want a little more noise, you can go resonator delete and if you want louder then you can also do secondary cat deletes. Any exhaust shop should be able to do it for $300 - $400 or so. Will not gain you any significant power since the piping diameter is the same, but definitely more noise.

Here is an example of resonator and secondary cat delete noise. If you only do resonator delete, it won't be nearly as loud

Resonator delete is such a great bang for your buck modification that is quick and simple. If you decide you want even more sound after that then yeah, there are those options listed above.

Hey Gearbangin, sounds good...

What level of exhaust mod did you do to this F?

It’s custom mid pipe, that eliminates resonator and secondary cats.

Thanks.

It sounds good. Im thinking of just a resonator delete but Im concerned with drone...It would certainly sound better idling and startup

Resonator delete by itself is a very mild change. Your piping, cats and mufflers are still the same. You will hear a little more growl at idle and some additional noise at low and midranges, but it would not change anything else dramatically.

If you remove the muffler and resonator it literally sounds like a Borla and saves you alot of money.
