I’m looking for a 16 or 17 F sport to replace my 2013 sometime this year. I’m seeing prices all over the place. Some 16’s around Texas are as low as $33,000 up to $40,000. 17’s are high 30’s to low 40’s. CPO and mileage varies. I’m seeing the following car and some similar to it, but unsure about not being able to test drive it.

I actually purchased my '15 this year from Texas Direct Auto in Stafford and had a great experience. Both trading in my IS, which they did not even look at once, to buying my GS. Specifically with a gentleman, Patrick, in sales.

Mine was in stock physically so I was able to drive it, but they should be able to bring that one in for you. However, I'm unsure if there would be a fee involved, may be a case by case basis.
But I'm happy with my purchase and service, bought in February and no issues. Just my experience.

U need to test the steering first before buying one. Seems like there's some steering problem going on here, including my old 2014 GS.

Carvana seems OK given their 7 day no cost return policy. Basically an extended test drive. Not sure how this policy plays out in practice though

Carvana does have a one week return period. But my guess is that this is not going to be completely hassle-free if you financed the car.

but did you mean your old silver GS specifically that you traded is one of the ones having this issue in the recent threads? I have a 2014 also and I've never experienced what those threads are mentioning.

I would be willing to buy off of one of these sites, especially a GS. Yeah, there are a few out there with issues, but the GS is a pretty solid bet. If it meant finding the right combination of options, color, and price, I'd be willing to take the chance.

i dont see a problem with buying with these sites. just make sure they have a return policy and as long as financing is good i dont see the issue.

@kgh31386 Recenty saw the Carvana vending machine for the first time driving Orlando, FL along I-4. It had a few cars that were "missing" so I guess folks are using them. Personally wouldn't be able to buy acar unless I had it inspected and test drove it.

Although they seem to have good policies regarding returns and process...their attempt is to be different and appeal to a demographic of folks (likely millennials) who prefer the idea of dealing with less paperwork, less people and have no time for car shopping...
