RCF Grandpa Buys New LC 500
Hello members! I just added another Lexus to my fleet, now 3. You’ve possibly read my posts on my Molten Pearl RCF and how meticulous I am with my Lexus vehicles, 2015 RCF and 2017 NX300h. This weekend I purchased a New 2018 Infrared LC 500! And no, I didn’t trade in my RCF or wife’s NX300h. Been watching the development of this car since 2012 and almost purchased one in 2017 when they first came out. It’s a late build 2018 which makes it more special to us.

Garage Photo
Thanks Josh! I purchased it last Saturday(5/18/19) but it is a dealer trade from California. I live in Seattle. Was told I will take delivery this weekend(5/25/19). I promise I will post a photo of it next to my RCF in the garage next week. Until then, dealership photos!

Beautiful set of wheels in a stunning color. Enjoy every minute behind the wheel!
Got my Mica Nightfall LC500h six weeks ago but only able to drive it for 2 of those weeks, so far. (Had it at the detailer for paint protection film and ceramic coat to keep it as shiny as possible.) Glad to have it back!!

Total for paint correction, full body wrap with Suntek film, Modesta BC-04 body and Modesta BC-06 wheel coating ran $8,000. My detailer (TLC Auto Detail in Sterling, VA) runs a bit on the pricey side, but I have used him before and know he does great work and will never fuss about touching up his work later.
It looks like glass, especially the carbon fiber roof. Water beads and falls away, dust on wheels wipes away, and exhaust residue on tailpipes rinses away with sprayed water.
