Default Brake fluid flush before or after?

I知 purchasing new OEM brake pads and OEM rotors for my 80,000 mile LS. I知 getting the brakes installed by an Indy, flush done by Toyota.

Stupid question......

Should I get the brake fluid flushed before or after I have the brakes installed or does it not matter either way?

Anything else brake related I should have done at this mileage?

Did you get the parts free? Like a warranty deal? If you have to pay then I wouldn't go with the OEM parts.

I already purchased the OEM brake pads on eBay for $140. I was planning on purchasing the OEM rotors, front and back, $406 shipped.

I do notice the current brakes don稚 have very much feedback.....

Did you read the Brakes and Rotors thread on here before you decided?

It really does not matter unless you were changing the calipers.

I知 at 36,000 miles and my original rotors are already warped, I would not buy OEM ones, just my .02

If you flush it post-pad swap, it doesn't matter because you're getting fresh fluid.
So, brake fluid flush post-pad swap. 👍 😀

If he were doing the swap and flush at the same place I would recommend doing the flush before the change without a doubt. Since he is using 2 different places to do the work IMO it doesn't really matter. You can't go wrong either way it's done.

I would not buy OEM ones
=========================

I would not either, I bought an 07 460 a year ago with 105,000 miles, needed front rotors and pads right away

based on the opinions on this forum I called rockauto.com and got all new good stuff for around $300, very happy

The real answer is it doesn't really matter, however I think by doing the hardware change second you run more risk of introducing air into the system by compressing pistons, accidentally un-torqueing a brake line, etc. To minimize risk I'd do the flush after the hardware change.

If it were me, I'd do it after. For all the reasons stated.

I would do it after brake job . Because if the current fluid level is max removing the pads will make the level rise above the max , therefore overflow could occur.
