Hi all, figured i would start a thread about what you did to your Ls460 today.
It is highly popular on the GS forum and I think we can use some good vibes with fun stuff with our Ls460's
Last week I bough Adams Glass sealant and went to the car wash last night
Prepped the window, Clayed the window with clay bar and clay lube, re cleaned window with non ammonia window cleaner
applied the sealant, buffed with window microfiber..
have to say remarkable results looks amazing and from what i know will repel water great.
Really finishes off a clean car, clean tire and wheels and the details with the glass finish it

put adams, liquid ceramic paste on car.
first washed, clayed, IPA wipe down and applied
off the hook shine and beading. I would say as good of a shine as pinnacle souveragn carnuba or better gloss/shine
now that is saying something
its synthetic they said should last 4 times as long as carnuba in heat and sun.
amazing product for 26$
put it on my wife alpine white bmw two weeks ago with also great results.
i spoke to the rep today and asked what are the downsides to a great carnuba
he said your starting to understand why sio2 / ceramic waxes are gaining momentum there is no downside.
I've got detail products galore. The other half other of the supplies are in the basement storage shelves!!
I haven't had time to do some details for my tiny side business. The ceramic stuff looks interesting but I refuse to buy another detail product until I put a dent in my supply. Right now it's all for personal use! My vehicles stay indoors most of the time so the wax/sealant hold up for a very long time.

I just had my rocker panels refinished. There were pitted badly and had some curb scrapes on them. Took them off to save on labor and have my paint shop do them for $180 total. It brought out her beauty even more.

Collinite was the first non auto parts retail wax that I was introduced to by my friend's father. That was over 20 years ago He's still kicking at 82 years old and still does a few details from time to time !
It is great wax for the price and has held up well vs all the new synthetic waxes and sealants out there. I continue to use it on my car as a coating over expensive sealants, rim protection and for budget details. It is a sentimental favorite that I will continue to order.
Oooh! I did something to my (2) LS460s last night.
1. The registration came in for my Deep Sea Mica, so I replaced the temp plate with the permanent plate
2. Removed the stupid "blind spot" mirrors from the door mirrors that should be used as blind spot mirrors
3. Removed the stick-on dealer tags from the Crafted Line and the Deep Sea Mica
I think I will have a chance this weekend to continue cleaning the paint on the Crafted Line. I hope to complete IronX and claybar from the front doors back. I did the front of the car two weeks ago. I'll follow that with some minor paint correction (rock chips and scratches), then compound, polish, and silicone sealant (The Last Coat). I expect that to take a few weekends, though.

Will do. I'm impressed with the amount of shine with all the fine scratches in the paint. I don't know that pictures will do the finished product any justice.
