RR Racing Performance Upgrade Package
I just recently got my ISF and am looking to tinker with it a bit. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback or thoughts on the RR Racing Performance Upgrade Package.

all in all to me the consensus was PPE>Sikky, just because no modifications needed. the RR package includes the tune and intake.
just gonna add i haven't received my stuff yet since i just placed order last week and it'll be a little wait.
i ended up purchasing the mounts and AOS as well. I have a local ceramic coat place for that as well, and since i like his work and quality I trust him with my parts.

I didn't get the package, but I do have the RR Racing Tune, Intake and PPE Headers (with Joe-Z Exhaust) and boy is it incredible. I got each part as they released them. I saw the biggest difference with the Tune, but the PPE Headers and Exhaust were a close second. The intake is a nice bump as well.

QUESTION.
would it make sense to have the cats welded on first before i install the headers?
or do the headers first, THEN do the cats?

This was a question I had as well. If you do headers you are removing the primary cats but not the secondaries that are still on the exhaust. You are not going to want to weld replacement cats on the headers as real estate is kinda a premium and you wouldn't want to ruin the headers. It seems that the majority will run headers with just the secondaries and be fine. You might want to have replacement cats welded to the exhaust but you'd probably want to wait until the headers are in first to know how everything lines up.

i was gonna have them welded passed the flange of the headers and figured it would help me from having any smells.

I'll tell you what I did.
On another car, I made a set of "test pipe"-like cat connections. Looks like the photo below. That way I could easily bolt in/ bolt-out the cats as needed. I had one set with the cats...and a plain set for racing or whatever.

Maybe i didnt explain it correctly. im not thinking of modifying the headers.. my plan is Headers[flange] Gesi{welded} OE exhaust.
