Default What to look for in an IS350 Fsport

Hello everyone,

I'm currently selling my Benz and searching for an IS350 FSport (2015-2017). I've been doing as much research as I can. Apart form the obvious things to look for when buying any second hand car, what particular things should I look for/check in the IS350 FSport? If there is an existing thread on this topic, I'd appreciate it if you could please point me to it.

All assistance gratefully received.

Nicholas.

Make sure there's actually a V6 in there to confirm it's not just a re-badged 300? lol

Seriously, I think it's just making sure you have the F-sport trim and what comes with it and ensuring whatever the sticker has on it, that you confirm all of the options/packages are in the car as well.

Check on the condition of the tires, especially the inner wear. The IS has been known for this problem, so while you will have to deal with this issue as an owner, maybe you can try and get some rubbers if you catch it at the shopping stage...

BTW - Where is VIC located?

- Look for matching VIN on the body (hood, bumper, doors) to ensure no unreported accidents
- Make sure Navi works and screen isn't peeling
- Inner Tire wear

Another thing to look out for is the windshield. Check whether the car is Certified Pre Owned (CPO) and whether or not the windshield was replaced before. Check if there is a Lexus logo in the bottom corner. If it is aftermarket the windshield wiper defroster might not be functional.

Thanks everyone for the helpful suggestions!
Wthrman2, VIC stands for Victoria, Australia.
Cheers,

If the 17 is an option, decide whether you like the refresh better than the 15-16 and if you do, shop for a 17.

We've had three windshields in our CT and every single one has the lower heater and upper. They had to match it perfectly. Cannot leave a plug hanging loose.
