What are the implications of staggered rims? 19” ?
So guys so the rims I want only come in
8.5 width and 9.5 for the backs , so I’m going to have to get what? Different tires for the back or what’s going on ?
But as I understand it done tires have a wide range of widths that would fit right ?

Oh the offset is 33 on the 8.5 and on the 9.5 it’s 38

The implication is you driving more aggressively than you should be No issues with drivetrain since you have rwd. You won't be able to do normal tire rotations so you'll go thru tires faster, but I'm guessing you'll be putting the 18s back on during winter months?

given that the front and back are only 1 inch apart width wise, I can still get the same tires right? Size and all.... just can’t rotate them about?

I ran a staggered setup for 4 years right up to when I traded it in on my SHO. I loved the stance and look. As already stated, there are NO issues with staggered. And even with AWD, there would not be an issue as long as you kept the diameter the same. for example, my SHO is AWD, and I run a staggered setup (again because I like the stance). I had to be careful to maintain a <4% difference in diameter front to back in order to keep the PTU happy (and Ford as well for warranty).

most likely yes, the snow tends to pack tightly and although my parking is covered it’s not heated so, wheel movement is a concern.

costs almost nothing to do it here... but from the responses doesn’t really answer the questions I’ve asked about tire sizes for the back rims which are 1” wider

ah ok on 19s or what? I’m very unfamiliar with the staggered nonsense and I don’t really know where to start.. so help me out guys
i don’t want any rubbing etc
seeing how the rear offset is 38, do I have to run a spacer?
So we know fronts are 8.5” wide...so I think I’ll run 245 50
the backs are 9.5” so what on earth do I do there? I don’t want to do lower profile so can I stick with 50? With an inch wider on the rims how wide can I go tire wise with no issues? I don’t care about the speedo etc not important just rubbing handling etc

i did see that if people are running 38 offsets they need hub centric rings... are those spacers? And how are spacers bought and sold? Like do you tell people you need to make a 38 fit like a 33 or what ?
