Upgrade GX 4602013 or later
I am wanting to up grade to a 2013 for the 460 motor and the approach looks to have more clearance than the 2014 style
Why would anyone what the newer body style , other than looking newer ??
Advantage to one body style over the other ??

You might be posting in a wrong gen forum. This is for 470s...

I am wondering if they would tone down their bumper so it's not so much for off roading , I'd like to get rid of the low hanging front thing on the 2014 +

Not a fan of the new bumper for sure... Looks good on the cars, but on the SUV they look like something from Maximum Overdrive.
Two things to be aware of if you plan to overland your 460 - it's about 300 lbs heavier than a 470. And the electric 3rd row seats means interior cargo height is reduced.

The new redesign looks hideous on the entire line of SUVs (LX, GX and RX, but NX seems to be able to get away with that look)!

3rd row folds up against the sides of the cargo area, which is a terrible design IMO. Leaves very little room in the cargo area for an SUV of this size. Thankfully they can be removed altogether.

My 3rd row seats only get used when family comes to visit. Otherwise they're bagged & in the garage.

I have an 08 , so far i like it a lot, i drove my X5 for a week and now i have SES light :-(
Its something or the other that needs attention in the BMW every few months, minor but annoying.
