Lightbulb 7th gen noise reducing 18" wheels on 6th gen

Wondering if the 7th gen 18" noise reducing wheels fit on the 6th gen w/ 18" wheels. Has anyone given this a go? Interested to see how much of a difference these wheels truly make.

Here's a guy that put them on his GS, if that helps: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ls-on-4gs.html

My guess is that they would fit a 6th. gen car. However, I have them @ $1000.00 on my 2019 and can't tell the difference... Probably would be even more $ buying them as a part...

The 6th Generation 18" wheels make noise? Really?
Anything else I need to know about? Do the seats smell (But only after you set on them releasing the trapped carcinogen odors)? Do the rear seats fold on their own allowing your groceries to impale you at the next stop sign?
Sure is more to this car shopping than there use to be.

The stock 18" wheels are fine on the 6th gen. Lexus is marketing a new design on the 7th gen that has some sort of isolation feature. The verdict is still out on how much real world difference they make, if any.

Thanks! The guy hasn't given his say on how much of a difference these make. Let's see.

Exactly why I was curious about this. There was a YouTube video w/ a Lexus engineer who was demonstrating how this worked. But since these cars are quiet anyway, was wondering how much of a real world effect these noise reducing wheels had.

Today I took the ES 350 up to 90 mph on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Fastest I've driven it since I got it. I had an open lane with no one around and turned the radio off to hear
"the sound of silence". About the noisiest part of the car was the windows. No road noise (tires - Michelins) and no engine noise either. Hard to discern between wheels and tires...
The ride was as smooth as a prom queen's thighs... Very impressed...

Having driven LS460s with and without the "noise reducing wheels" that have been available on it since 2013, I've never noticed any difference.

Can you be so kind and post a photo? I’m really curious to see what they look like on a 6-generation ES.

Here's a photo of the NR wheels on a 2019. I don't think they would look much different on a 6th. gen car...
