Lexus branded or Ebay labeled OEM differences?
On eBay you can buy front and rear shocks for $800 and Lexus OEM for appox. $1200. Either option is expensive but has anyone purchased the cheaper ebay sets? I am wondering how viable they are as a shock replacment? Here is one example from ebay:

I’d go stock or get rid of the system for the bilstien setup.
The struts you you are referring too are sold on amazon by a company I’ve never heard of. But here’s a pic and the link.

Anyone know if these aftermarket coilovers will allow for stock height, or if they will only lower the car? I have an sc300 just a daily driver and I'm looking for new suspension but I don't really want it lowered as it's low enough for me. I'm seeing sets on ebay by maxpeedingrods for 200 and was wondering if anyone knows if they'll allow for stock height. Every ebay seller I email seems to be foreign based on their lack of understanding when I ask them. They all respond with "yes these are adjustable and allow you to lower your car 1-3"" and don't answer my question as to whether they allow for stock height. I'm not looking for someone to tell me that I should buy better coilovers. I'm just a guy on a budget looking to keep his car at stock height. TIA

Has any actually used one of these faux "oem" shocks and can comment on the quality? There is only a handful of legitimate OEM shocks being advertised and they cost close to $2k for a set of 4.
