Default Fabric Liner Front Wheel Well?

I just noticed both front wheel wells on my 2013 LS 460L do not have a fabric liner in the wheel well. Both rear wheel wells do have the fabric liner. Is this normal or did the dealer take off for some reason and forget to put back on?

No clue to be honest. I could of sworn it was there in the front. I did a hand washing for the first time all winter and noticed it over the weekend. I have been taking my car to the touchless car wash place in my town on a weekly basis. Tons of salt on the roads so I get the full wash with undercarriage spray. I will have to call the local Lexus dealer and ask the parts person.

Same with me, only rears have it. the front is plastic. i assume because it takes in more dirt and grime so its plastic up front.

I’m pretty sure my 2007 LS460L with air suspension has the fabric on the front wheel wells.

I finally took a good look at my rear fenders today and noticed they’re cloth. Seems a little much/weird to me. What’s the point of it? I thought my fronts were cloth due to the backing of the fenders. Lol. I’m learning, just bought the car.

This was kind of surprising to find. Luxury vehicles these days are using thicker and thicker quilted liners to absorb road noise. I would love to retrofit some heavier ones to see if it makes a difference.

Quite notable exception I found the other day is the Mercedes EQS (AMG) which has plastic.
