need spark plugs changed
How much should the cost be to change the spark plugs and rear coil packs on a 2007 rx350? It has over 130k and their still the originals. It just looks a little to0 involved to do myself.

I would get the coil packs changed for the same reason you said. Would never want to do this job again if I didn't have to. I had a front coil pack fail on me on this car at 60k. It definitely happens and better to have peace of mind

They do, they are good. On our first plug replacement (was around 92k, it was $189, but prices have gone up). Their V6 timing belt change is $249, but that does not include water pump, tensioner, etc) -- still a good price. These guys know the tricks to get it done quickly and efficiently.

I'm going the same route at the moment robm. OEM plugs are Denso but I've always had great luck with NGK as well so I'm leaning towards them.
In searching I've noticed there are tons of different after market brands for ignition coil packs. That's why I came to search today. See what I might be able to get away with, instead of going OEM Denso. Cheapest I've found on those are $59 a coil.
Then there are sets of 6 I can pick up for $59 and more. I've always been a big believer in you get what you pay for... but if I could save some money on this project I'd like to.
What parts are proving to be too much for you to do it yourself rob? There are some great step-by-step write ups on here and on youtube that walk your through it. That's the only reason I'm going to undertake it myself.
Best of luck to you. Look forward to hearing whichever way you decide to go!

These are the kinds of parts car flippers use to get a car running so they can sell it.

I'd love to be able to do it myself, bwhitsonjr. I just don't have the flexibility or drive to get this done at home. If I did do this, I would definitely get the OEM coils and plugs. They have been great so far.
