Default Wrapped your roof? What about the antenna?

Hey guys, quick question for those that have wrapped their roofs as I am thinking of going the gloss black roof for my white RCF.

What did you do with the shark fin antenna? Did you wrap it? Did you buy a replacement colour coded one? Did you go for a CF one (if so where from)?

Cheers

Enjoyed your videos, thanks for making them
I haven't had mine wrapped, but I think you should wrap it to match. I've seen some that left it white and personally I think it's too jarring of a contrast.

I would rec against cf replacement .CF blocks radio transmission. You can tell that the cars work CF roofs, Lexus just does a black fin

I wrapped mine to match with gloss back. I wouldn't leave it.

I wrapped the fin on my white vehicle to match. To me leaving it isn't an option - it doesn't look right at all.

Definitely wrap the antenna to match....a skilled shop knows what they are doing.

My friend left the antenna when he did his roof wrap. The contrast is nice but it's really just preference!

Awesome, thanks guys. My preference is to go black but I was unsure if it was wrappable....being an odd shape and all. But will seek out a skilled professional and get it done.

You could remove the antenna, pretty straight forward, and have it painted black. Its small enough that you can do it as an DIY with good results or have a replacement black one prepainted used on website for about USD $50'ish.

I'm wrapping my roof shortly and that is what I'm planning on doing, I have the CF overlay piece and will test how much signal is actually blocking it (I primarily use my phone/Bluetooth because of Pandora for music and Sirius for sports) so the antenna isn't used too much. I didn't add the car to Sirius as it was an added expense and not needed as I care about it being on my phone more, hopefully the radio isn't too affected but CF blocks signal by nature so we'll see.

I left it by choice. I like the contrast. I wrapped the roof black gloss myself.
