Default Taking Delivery of My 2018 BMW M3 CompPack at the Performance Center in SouthCarolina

This was actually about a year ago but finally got around uploading the pics/video of the experience!

This is my 2nd F80 M3, I had a 2016 non-CP prior to this and my 5th BMW since 2009.
This one I plan to keep around for a bit hopefully.

One of the SPECIAL things about the BMW brand is the custom ordering process and this amazing delivery experience is just icing on the cake! I REALLY need to do European Delivery - but with 2 little ones very hard to plan a trip like that right now lol.

Here is the Itinerary:
Custom order new ///M3 build to your Spec and schedule Delivery Date
Day 1 = Travel, BMW pickup from Airport, Complimentary Dinner and 1 Night at Hotel
Day 2 = Driving Experience of your exact car on the Track, xDrive Course, BMW Factory Tour, your actual Vehicle Delivery

Hope you enjoy the pics and videos!

Thanks for posting this. Reminded me of my delivery in August 2018. I might do a European delivery next time.

Very cool! Did you end up driving it back to NY or did they arrange transport?

Outstanding! I was considering that when I ordered my E92. This is the intangible that other car cos. don't want to do. The way the euro delivery was always supposed to work is that basically your trip is free due to the lower cost of the vehicle. But you have to wait for your car to get back. PC was the other thing I was thinking. If I remember, you're not driving your own car at the center, just back home, which isn't bad cuz you can vary the speed along the way...dang those are my fav rims too....fffffffffrozen!

not to go too off topic but if Lexus had a Japan delivery and the trip to Japan worked out to be free, I bet lots of folks would be interested...

edit this is a joke--now why would you want to buy such an unreliable brand? There has to be at least 20 things that commonly fail LOL

Congrats again!

I remember reading others' blogs....if you pick up your car in the winter, it cannot leave the center unless it has snows. I thought it was cool that they enforce that in Germany.

And in those blogs they would show how excited their kids were. Can you imagine being a kid and doing this with your dad or mom?

Cool video and experience, thanks for sharing! Had to pause and look at the instructors, see one we know (Mike R). We've done the factory tour and a couple of events at the small track there. Just an hour 1/2 down the road from me.

Car looks great, normally I am not a fan of blue cars but that looks really good, I liked that blue they had for the E48 M3 too. Sounds like a really cool experience too. Doing the pickup in Germany sounds like a really cool experience too especially if you can time a vacation in there with it. So did they send the M3 directly from Germany to South Carolina and installed the performance options before you even got your car or did you have your car you already owned sent to SC and then they did the installments?

another great thing about these cars is they make it very easy to add oil

Congrats! I have yet to go to SC, but I've been to Thermal several times! Hopefully I'll be able to take delivery one day like that!
