Default car hops when trying to accelerating fast from 0

Hello
I have a 2013 lexus es with only 18k miles and everything stock. Bought it from a fellow member. One day i just testing the acceleration of the car from zero and it started to hop violently. Any idea what could cause the issue? Tire looks fine and they are the factory tire.

OEM tires are junk if they are Bridgestone.

Possibly something with the road surface. Did you try it again somewhere else? Also could have been something with the traction control which always tries to prevent wheelspin. Try it with traction control off vs on. Very unlikely a tire problem. Was the road surface wet??

I tried it in wet surface with tc off and on and same tried it on dry surface as well. both road was paved well. I done many 0-60 with different kind of cars. never had this. I can tell when the TC kicks in but it didnt feel like TC. obviously this is not what this kind of car made to do but it should not have issue doing it. lol

The only time I get wheel hop is due to traction control.

Is this BC's old car? I don't think he would be happy to hear how it's being treated.

there are 268 ponies under the hood, i see someone is fully utilizing all 268.

drive it like you stole it!

but on a serious note, this car is an excellent cruiser, not meant to be driven hard.

i tried a bit of "spirited" driving and....umm......the body roll is no joke. i felt like i was going to lose control, not going to push it further.

Default No hopping here...

I know that a 2014 ES350 with Michelin Defender Tires will do 150 with no hopping at all. Pretty smooth actually for the speed.

how exactly do you get to 150 with an ES?

i believe the ES has a limiter at 130mph or 135mph at most.
