You shouldn't need one. Just ensure you make sure your battery is replaced every 5 years. Since you have a 2015 like I do, it's about time. Mine shows no sign of problems just yet but I do plan on replacing it within the next 6 months with this one

If you are worried about having a dead battery because of prolonged travel enough to kill the 12v battery, I would consider this:
Amazon Amazon

I own one and its fantastic insurance. I had it sitting in my car for about 6 months and it still held a full charge. It's very small, you can probably fit it in the area where the spare tire goes.

Can I ask, why AGM? Do you plan on running accessories on it? If you are, i'd like to know what your plans are for wiring a fuse panel or what you're powering.

I'm like you. I park my 2013 CT200h at one airport and fly out. I have my 2015 RCF parked at the other airport where I fly into. When I fly home I reverse the process.

I have the following battery pack at each of the two cars just in case...... Very compact unit.

I've helped others jump their cars multiple times without fail.

I got these last year with a coupon for $50 each no shipping (Prime via Amazon).

^That seems like a cool emergency pack just to have around. I hope those lead wires are short because they seem awfully thin. I've had comparatively thick jumper cables heat up and start smoking

no issues with that getting hot?
