I don't currently. However, with a little research I was able to track down the previous owner of my car here on Club Lexus prior to purchasing.

Thanks guys, just want to make sure the cars available are good to consider. Looked at car fax on some of them, and they have some crazy history of tires being constantly changed and rims bending. There is a white on red that’s for sale, and looking at the history makes you think twice about purchasing. Windshield broken, rims bent, tires changed multiple times. And asking price is almost 47K not even certified. Few for sale have accident reported with salvage title.

Good gracious. Other ways to research history is Autocheck and/or sign up for an account an Lexus drivers. You can search on a car's service history by VIN. Things to look out for are Lexus track cars that have very low mileage (less than 5K) and have had brakes/rotors replaced, alignment, etc.

There is one in Queens NY with under 15K miles, they are asking 53K and not certified. From my understanding the dealer does not want to certify the car. I am just curious how much would you guys as owners pay for one like that?

I'm assuming it's a 2016. Just checked it out. They have it listed as Nebula Grey Pearl and it appears to be Liquid Platinum. I checked Lexus Driver's site and this vehicle was damaged by a tow truck in November 2018 during towing for a flat tire (didn't really describe damage). The original owner traded it soon thereafter. The dealer performed dent repair less than a week ago.

I paid $54K for my car in October 2018 with the same mileage, AND it's certified.

If the dent repair is not an issue for you, I would offer low $50K.

Don't know the vehicle, but from Lexus Drivers from last summer... "Glass windshield replaced.... windshield completely broken... glass everywhere on inside of the vehicle....remove and replace windshield/with molding where required... cleanup broken glass". It also had a slashed tire replaced last fall from owner hitting a pothole.

If body has no signs of accident or paint work, 42K is a good offer? I don’t think it’s certified as well

Thanks a lot for your help. I just saw a new listing by owner, what do you guys think? https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...odelCode1=GS+F

seems very high for not a Lexus certified, KBB 42 to 45k.

It's worth a try but I don't think there's anyway they'll accept that low of an offer.

The dealer isn't a Lexus dealer so there's no way it would be certified.

Yeah it's a new listing and they priced it high, plus the tires are dirty in the pic! I would be put off by that alone...

Just a tip. Recommend using an independent inspection company to check out any car you're buying, especially if it's coming from a non Lexus dealer. I purchased mine from a Lexus dealer and had it done anyway. Well worth the $120 and added piece of mind. I used AiM Certify but there are others out there.

Really appreciate all your input, I looked at some of your posts. You went through the same process. How do you like the color combo you got.
